I envisioned a very abstract scene of winter colors for this piece with highlighted winter hues of pinks, lavender and blues. The inspiration behind this one as a reference photo of a flower garden in winter covered in fresh falling snow, and it helped me craft the color palette for this painting.

I’m fascinated and in love with the winter season, and it sparks a lot of my best work. The colors in winter are very muted tones but I love to play around with them and create pieces like this that can still be a vivid statement piece in colors that are not as striking. To finish it off, I laid down tiny details of little flowers within the painting, which are my signature in every piece.
