Building Bridges K4
AED 360 – AED 1,250The ?Building Bridges? series by Nasr delves into the metaphorical contrast between the human propensity for constructing barriers and the need for building connections. Here, Nasr predominantly utilizes the imagery of arches to convey his message. In this series, the arch is not just a structural element but a symbol representing various concepts such as strength, support, and the transition to liminal spaces. Drawing inspiration from both mythology and architecture, Nasr uses arches to signify doorways in time and space, evoking themes of worship, hospitality, and the uplifting of the spirit to higher ideals.

The Confrontation (colour)
AED 275 – AED 750A journey of patience led Florian to this image, as it took many scouting trips to identify this spot, and even more visits to the location to finally find clear skies adorned by clouds, while a pair of oryx were engaging in their territorial rivalry. The resulting photograph is meant to represent both the confrontation of the animals, but also the contrast of harsh urban shapes of Dubai, with the natural soft outlines of the dunes of the UAE desert.

Floating Giant
AED 275 – AED 650One of the most elusive sights you can witness is a blanket of low fog rolling in from the desert for a few mornings in the year, covering the ground and elevating the The Burj Khalifa above the clouds. This view from one of the tallest buildings in the Business Bay district provides a never before seen angle of the world’s tallest building.
Battle of the Burj
AED 275 – AED 650The most iconic landmarks of the city meet in this perfectly composed image as the glittering skyline comes alive while the last light of the sunset reflects on the glass facades of Dubai’s incredible architecture.
Colours, Shapes & The Moon
AED 275 – AED 650In its minimal approach, this image shows one of Dubai’s most famous buildings with our celestial companion as the sunset casts a pink hue into the sky. Taken from a several kilometers away, it’s a real photograph that plays with proportions, creating an unusual perspective of a familiar subject.
Wadi Scenery
AED 275 – AED 750When people think of Dubai, they often only see glitzy cityscapes and sandy deserts – rarely are mountainous landscapes the first thing on someone’s mind. However, the UAE is home to beautiful rock formations in the Hajar mountain range, lined with Wadis carrying water throughout the rainy season, and feeding greenery left and right of the valleys. This image is part of the “Timeblend Dubai” series, showcasing how day to night flow into each other by merging multiple photos taken at different times of the day into a single continuous transition that is not normally evident to the human observer.
